I was talking to Mazo about the indy game forum (which seems to be one of the only forums where indy progarmmers -- those that make a living doing indies -- hang out). http://forums.indiegamer.com/
I also enjoy reading the game tunnels monthly round up of ten games. A panel of judges will review a game and give it a score from 1 to 5 http://gametunnel.com/cat_mru.php
I was also talking about robotron, when I actually meant robokill. A flash game in which they will give the first few levels for free. If you like it you can pay money to get access to the other levels. http://www.rocksolidarcade.com/games/robokill/
